During the first week of July, our students as staff (SAS) Jodie Gibbons and Aleksandra Trifkovic presented at the Higher Education Research and Development Society of Australasia (HERDSA) conference held in Auckland, New Zealand.
The topic of their presentation was ‘Students as Co-creators of Curriculum’ which was based upon the unique SAS contribution to each stage of the Block Design Process, encompassing student feedback and achievement.
This was deemed a rewarding experience for both SAS, due to the growing popularity of students as partners in 21st century tertiary education design.
HERDSA provided insight into the current global context of education and the importance of innovation and technology enhanced learning. Our SAS have been delighted to implement these strategies at Victoria University in their current roles.
